Andrei is a renowned veteran of the UK banking industry with a wealth of leadership experience in the top UK, US and global financial institutions.
The highlights of his 20+ year career in finance include first-hand experience in global capital markets, mergers and acquisitions gained from his tenure in London and New York with Salomon Smith Barney, a global investment bank (presently part of Citigroup), serving as Head of M&A / Investor Relations at SUEK, one of the largest mining conglomerates in the world, membership of the Board of Relendex(a premier regulated peer-to-peer lending platform in the UK). Andrei is an alumnus of Deloitte and KPMG.
For over a decade, Andrei has developed and taught Advanced Financial Modelling on the London Business School’s Master in Finance Programme. Andrei holds degrees in finance (LBS), banking (LSE) and international economics (MGIMO). Published several papers in authoritative business media such as Harvard Business Review.
Andrei founded 3S Money Club, a regulated B2B banking platform for international commerce, where he acts as the Company’s CFO, a role allowing him to provide companywide leadership in all matters of finance, fintech and infrastructure. His previous successful roles at CFO level include Effortel Europe, a pan-European virtual mobile network operator, and a deputy CFO position at SUEK.
During his presentation at LSE, Andrei will talk about payment innovations and changing banking landscape of today and tomorrow. He will share his organisation’s experience and broader market observations on international payment challenges and business opportunities that come with those inefficiencies.
