1.Make sure your startup idea identifies a Product-market – degree to which a product satisfies strong market demand.
2.Be enrolled or have graduated from a university (within 12 months of graduation date)
3.Have held an eligible visa during your last period of leave to remain in the UK. If you are still in the UK, this leave to remain must be valid
4.Have an innovative, viable and scalable business idea
5.Have over 51% of shares in the future company or, if applying as a part of a team of two, have 50% of shares each in the future company (in case you are planning to apply for visa)
You can't apply if you've previously established a business in the UK.
