Irina Khakamada graduated from the Economic Department at the University of International Friendship named after Pathriss Lumumba. Defended Doctoral dissertation in economic sciences at the Department of Economics at Moscow State University. In 2004, Irina Khakamada ran in the Russian presidential election and obtained about 4 million votes. Leaving behind her political career in 2008, she went on to becoming an educator and continues to facilitate master classes on topics such as how to be successful in modern Russia, also while teaching at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, in the International School of Business – the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, in the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the RF, in training company “City-class”, created video-courses for Modern University for the Humanities and also in Moscow Business School. She is also an author of bestsellers, such as: “DAO of life. A master class from the convinced individualist", "Success in the big city", and "Sex in big-time politics." Her most recent work is "Restart: how to live many lives," which was published in 2018. Some of her other achievements include being nominated in 2005 for the Nobel Prize among 1000 women of the Globe and by the results of sociological surveys she twice was named the "Woman of the Year."
